It's Christmas In July!

Take heart, readers of this here place, this is one of our days...particularly, if you admire Ronnie Francis as much as I do. ;)

Today, Mr. Franchise had a press conference about his being elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame two weeks ago at the RBC Center...video here (courtesy of WRAL-TV 5), text there (courtesy of the Canes' official site).

Also taking a gander at Ron's Hall of Fame induction are ESPN and Luke DeCock/the Raleigh News and Observer.

As if this month could not get any better for this Francis nut...first, I won what is quite possibly the new crown jewel of my collection, AND NOW all of this!! *happily sighs*

Not even going to waste time listing all of the dates...I've been way behind, and I just want to get caught up over here. Over the past month, here's all I have added...

- A copy of Goal Magazine - October 10th, 1987 vs. the Hartford Whalers.

- June 29th, 2007 copies of The (Raleigh) News and Observer (front page/main section), The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and The Sault Star. Still working on The Hartford Courant...

And last, but certainly not least...

- A MP3 of the June 29th interview with Mark Madden on Pittsburgh's ESPN Radio affiliate, 1250 AM, with A LOT of thanks to Michael a.k.a. Hockey Fanatic.

Pictures will be coming soon of these (well, the more visual items, anyway ;) ) and the others I have yet to post pictures of.

Also coming soon is quite the addition to my collection...all I'll say is that it might just edge out my Carolina Hurricanes Season Ticket Holder Litho for being the crown jewel of my collection. ;D

Happy (American) Independence Day!

Obviously, I'm not dead...just been very, VERY BUSY lately. While I'm still having fun with my commercial-less game DVD project, I am very, VERY close to something that will revolutionize my regular blog...thanks to something I won from here and which arrived yesterday. Just have a couple of things I need to play around with and work out. But hopefully, my big plan will make its debut either this weekend or next week.

Haven't forgotten about pictures and all...got some items on their way to add, thanks to Ronnie's becoming a Hall of Famer. You'll have to forgive me for being a bit slow with the site and blog updates...between what I mentioned AND the fact that, other than said items, there's not a whole lot coming in for my collection, I cannot help but take my time.
